images:
in the no time to die poster it shows the main character as a large figure to show importance, then including other characters and a car on fire. This could be done to show what type of roles there are in the film, as well as the car that suggests that there is a lot of action. Which can link to the fact that James bond is an action film with a variety of characters included. therefore giving more of an ideas of what could happen and be seen as interesting to the target audience.
context
- The girls in the James bon movies used to be seen as just beautiful and a love interest, often sexualised or objectified in the roles that had and what they wore.
- James bond was typically a masculine stereotype and strong character
- The inequality was the same in all of hollywood during this time, as James bond was just a representation of this
- the most recent James bond is the one where James seeks to have interest on one woman whereas in the pass it was seen to have multiple and without emotional attachment
- the new 007 (nomi) was seen to be a character who shows support and kindness towards the James bond
- although some people online saw this and was showing hate towards the actor as they believe against the actor working with the main character.
stereotypes- an assumption of a certain group of people, is typically negative
representation of gender- how different genders are seen. 3 men and 3 women shown in the poster, the men are bigger to show the importance. Although the women are seen to look more confident and strong.
representation of ethnicity- how race is shown. 5 white people and 1 black character. Not an equal representation, but a positive one of nomi.
